Sunday morning is the time for Kirtan. I will join Kirtan at Sunshine Guesthouse with Upahar. I met some friends there; it’s always busy and intense here with the chanting.
After Kirtan, I walked over to Edwin’s for lunch. Just reaching there, Jonatan was talking with Mangala about delayed flights in the Gulf region. I didn’t read the news this morning, so I didn’t know that the USA attacked Iran and killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in his bunker with 30 bombs. Iran was attacking their military bases in the Gulf states.
Numerous countries in the Middle East closed their airspace, including Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Israel, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates. Major airports in the Middle East, including the world’s largest international hub in Dubai, were closed.
Flight radar maps on the internet showed virtually empty airspace over Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Israel, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates. My ticket was still valid, but it can be cancelled the next days. Nothing to do for me right now. I have been in Wild Cild for a coffee with Jonatan. He would leave on Tuesday, but to Thailand. There are no delays.
The rest of the day was just smooth. I had a nap, have been in the Ashram and just did my private stuff at home.
