Guidance for Seekers
When mukti is a desire, the one who desires remains to gain something. When it is a need, the necessity to come out of the bondage is natural.
Day 85 of my journey already. Time is passing fast. The day started smoothly as usual with Meditation and breakfast. There was no water pressure in my bathroom this morning. When Shivaji later came he checked it. There was air in the pipe. This happens when the water tank is empty and the air gets in. He bought a new and good air pump and installed it. Kabir left for Arambol to play some golf at the beach. He always has to check the tide before. On high tide, it’s not good to play. The place where we were last time is quite nice, ‘Sidney-X’. I went there in the afternoon, I had some Thali on the way. This time I came closer to ‘Sidney-X’ from a different route in Arambol. Arambol is a small but bustling village. Many Western visitors are around, doing shopping or other things. At the beach, I chose a deckchair and enjoyed the ocean. After a while, I fell asleep.

The coastal route to Arambol
At one moment I heard a voice saying, “Brother, brother, do you want to buy some bracelets or have a foot massage? Remember me, Lakshmi?” Yes, I remembered her, and no, I didn’t want a foot massage or bracelets. She left. Half a minute later I heard Kabir talking to me. He just finished his golf tour and walked to ‘Sidney-X’. I went towards the ocean for a refreshment. After a while, I walked over to Kabir and we had a lemon-mint soda and talked about this and that.
When we left it was past 17:00. I found my scooter and drove back to Assagao. Sometimes it is still irritating for me to find the right turnoff. But I got home. I am comfortable sitting in my new area after Meditation, it’s a big and open room. During the Meditation I fell asleep a little, I was very tired, probably from sleeping at the beach in the daytime. I am less tired when I am more active.
Another beautiful day has passed, there will be more …
