I woke up at 04:00 in the morning. This was my last full night in Shiva Mantra Residency. On Wednesday at 02:00, the taxi would pick me up and bring Karuna and me to Chennai airport. I could check in for my flight to Abu Dhabi, but I haven’t gotten a boarding pass yet. Let’s see.
I have been in the Ashram at 06:00. Sitting in the small Meditation Hall is very refreshing in the morning. Before 07:00, I walked over to the Samadhi Hall. At 06:45, there will be Chanting and Milk Offering to Bhagavan.
When coming back from the Ashram, I checked my emails again. The flight was just cancelled. OK, it didn’t come unexpectedly, as I know from other people whose flight was cancelled. The next step would be to apply for a Visa extension. My Visa will expire on Friday, 06.03.2026.
After the full moon, there would be no Satsang with Ammani. I made an appointment with Karuna, my rideshare partner. We met at 09:00 in Shanti Cafe for a coffee and talk about our situation. There is not much to do about it. Our flights were cancelled, Etihad will revise a new flight, but nobody knows when it will be. Tickets to Europe are very expensive now, between €1000 and €2000. And we would have to avoid the whole Gulf region, where there is war with Iran these days. When we left Shanti Cafe, I walked into the office of Shanti Travel. I briefly spoke with Kumar about my Visa extension. He said that I need the C-Form first. My landlord has to do this job. The C-Form is mandatory for the Visa extension.
My eyes were burning today. Might be from a lack of sleep, dust, all the fans around, bad news, or all together. I bought some eye drops and did some shopping. Later, I could talk to Kalai’s sister, who is a police officer. She gave me the C-Form on paper. I went to Shanti Travel with it. I talked to Tiago, who is Kumar’s employee. He said that the C-Form needs to be done online with this information on my paper. He needs the account details from Shiva Mantra Residency, where I stay. I called Parameshwari, the sister. She talked with Tiago but couldn’t find the account details to log in. Tiago said we have to create a new account then.
I wasn’t even hungry today; my mind was too busy. I had a nap when my doorbell rang. It was Lokesh asking me to drive him somewhere. I was too sleepy, and my eyes were burning. He asked me for my scooter key, and I gave it to him. He said he would be back in two minutes. It was 45 minutes, and he was not back. I started walking towards Shanti Travel, which would take 30 minutes to walk. AT the cow corner, Lokesh came around. He stopped, and I could continue driving to Shanti Travel. I got some information from Parameshwari. Parameshwari has been to Shanti Travel already and created the account with Tiago. She had to go to the police station for verification. I can’t do anything but wait.
I just tried to rest, but couldn’t sleep anymore.
