When will the realization of the Self be
gained?
When the world which is what-is-seen
has been removed, there will be realization
of the Self which is the seer.
My last night in the guesthouse. I started slowly packing this morning, not really much do.
I filled up my water bottle the last time, they have good drinking water in the guesthouse. Then I went down with my backpacks. There is my big backpack, a small one and one I got with my new laptop. I gave the key to the guard at the gate. The big backpack fits on my scooter, just between my legs. Less than 10 minutes drive to my new residence. Dakshnamurti, the guy from Sathya’s cafe showed me the rooms again. I decided to stay in the house where the room has more light. The other one was quite dark. From my veranda I also have a view to the Arunachala mountain.
I was driving into the town again, looking for a repeater to extend the WiFi, it’s strong on the veranda but not in my room. But it seems they don’t have such a thing in India. Anyway in a few days I am getting a cable from the router.
In the afternoon I offered my donation in the Ashram, I got some books from them.
For dinner I stayed in Sathya’s cafe. There I met Jonathan, a friendly guy from Denmark. We talked for a while and he mentioned that there is fullmoon on Sat. and half a million people will walk around the Arunachala, so do I. It’s around 14 km, so it will take some hours.

That sounds amazing, walking around the Arunachala!
I think I start around 18:00. They say there are hundreds of temples and Ashrams around, and lots of people walking.
