Jnani
The Jnani is not indifferent. He only appears so to those whose mind knows only difference. Indifference is seen only if there is difference. Indifference. Indifference is also a mental mode whereas a Jnani’s state is all inclusive, where there is neither difference nor indifference.
Another morning in Kandy. I slept well with a strange dream in between. I have done something in my dream to somebody I shouldn’t have done, at least this was my feeling. One of the dreams is when you wake up happy that it was a dream. As usual, I was reading and learning some Portuguese, still in bed.

I had a shower and around 09:00 I walked up to the veranda with my laptop. Pringi was so kind to bring me a coffee. Srimal showed up and we had a talk for a while about what is going on in Sri Lanka, past and now. Srimal said that he would drive to town this morning and could take me with him. I agreed and soon later we left. He used another road this morning, reaching the back from Kandy. He dropped me close to ‘The Bake House’, where Pringi suggested having breakfast. It was not on the road he mentioned but with the help of Google Maps, I could find the place. Or maybe I just got him wrong with the road.

The Bake House
I enjoyed my breakfast with two vegetable and egg nuns and a Mango Milkshake. After the breakfast I walked to the Railway station. It was about 10 minutes to walk, again along all these buses. My intention was to buy a ticket for the tourist train to Ella. It is supposed to be a beautiful journey, the train will stop several times at the most beautiful locations. At the train station was a ATM, so U could withdraw some more money. This time I got also 5000 and 1000 Rupee notes, not like the first time at the airport where I got 200 notes by 100 Rupees. After that I booked a bike with the PickMe app and went home.
I booked a room in Ella for two nights, from Saturday to Monday. In ‘The Peppermint’ I extended my stay for one more night from Friday to Saturday.
Later in the evening Srimal suggested to have dinner in a nearby Restaurant, just behind the tunnel. It was local food and very tasty and spicy.
