You are not in the universe; you are the universe looking back at itself.
I have been in the Ashram again at 06:00 in the morning. Sitting in the Meditation Hall and joining the chanting and milk offering. At 08:15, I met Florence, and we went to Satsang with Ganga Maa. You still have to be early there to get a chair. The first 20 or 30 minutes, I was sleeping, until one lady asked the first question. Then there were more questions, and Ganga Maa responded to them.
In response to a question about maintaining the peace of Arunachala after leaving Tiruvannamalai, Amma spoke about the inward current of grace. This grace, Amma said, is always available, but it must be held, honoured, and allowed to guide the inner journey. True happiness is not found in outward distractions but through that inward attention. When this movement within is sincerely followed, it gradually grows stronger and steadier, revealing a happiness that does not leave.
Outside, I met Djamilla and Alex. I could give her the Yoga mat which I picked up yesterday at Gia Mantra. I left with Florence for Sheshadri Ashram after that. Joining Puja at 11:30 was refreshing and beautiful. We had a quick lunch at the German Bakery, just some Momos. Florence had an appointment at Ahmudam Hospitals at 13:00. I gave her a lift, and we arrived there safely. It didn’t take long; I was waiting for her.
It was enough for now, and we were driving back to our apartments. At first, I didn’t find the right junction from the main road, but then I got it.
It was good to have a nap for a while. I picked Florence up in the afternoon, and we drove to the Ashram. There was Tamil Pranayana in the Samadhi Hall. I was sitting there silently and listening.
After a while, we met again, did some shopping, and had a very nice evening at Da Mantra Cafe with dinner and live music. There were not many people this time. It’s the middle of March, and many people have left Tiru already.
