Silence is not empty; it is full of answers.

It’s a beautiful day! Last night wasn’t so good. A mosquito was bothering me around 02:00 in the night. I woke up and found my arms and legs itching. I used some of my mosquito repellent. With my mosquito racket, I was successful in the end, just one mosquito. At least I could sleep for a while now. At 05:30, I woke up, but I was too tired to drive to the Ashram, so I stayed in bed. I couldn’t sleep anymore.

At 09:15, I walked downstairs. I would walk with Florence to the Sunshine Guesthouse for Kirtan. Florence showed up after a minute, and we started our 7-minute walk. It would be the last Kirtan for this season, as many people had left already. Upahar would leave as well soon.

After Kirtan, we had some lunch at Sunshine Guesthouse. It was the first time that I was eating there. Then we walked to Kavin’s Cafe, which is just very close by. We enjoyed a lassi or milkshake before walking back home.

I enjoyed a good nap this afternoon. To wake up always takes 20 minutes for me; I didn’t feel like going anywhere. Later, I called Sarah in England. We had a very nice talk for one hour. Inbetween my doorbell was ringing. It was Lokesh, the Indian guy living on the street here. He asked me if we could go and buy a pot for him. I said to him that I am on a phone call right now. We arranged for tomorrow at 17:00. I will give him a lift on my scooter then.

I went to the Ashram in the evening, sitting and meditating, watching people coming and going. Then I walked nine times around Bhagavan’s shrine.

It was time for another chai on the other side of the road, and some shopping in the supermarket. I bought some ice cream on Perumbakkam Road and went home. Time to rest, read and write, or watch a movie or episode of a series.
