Marc and Carol, my Brasilian friends picked me up in Monchique. I had some wonderful weeks here with my friends Davina and Simon.
In the evening we were driving to Portimão, it‘s Saturday night and the town is quite busy, nightlife. Late at night they dropped me at the bus terminal. The night bus to Lisbon will leave at 00:50.
I could sleep a little here and there, not really deep. The bus arrived with delay at 05:00.
When I arrived in Lisboa Oriente the Metro was still closed. I was waiting for the first train to the airport. Looking back I should have taken an Uber taxi because the airport was really crowded. Long queues at the check-in and passport control. In the end I arrived at the last call and in the plane now. A Dreamliner 787-900, will be a pleasant flight to Abu Dhabi, 7 hours.
